Andrey Arshavin still in talks for Russia switch

Andrey Arshavin could yet seal a move away from Arsenal to Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala.

Although the transfer window closed last night, the Russian system's deadline is not until next month.

Anzhi Makhachkala initiated talks with the winger yesterday, while Zenit St Petersburg are also said to be interested.

The 30-year-old is believed to be in the squad for Arsenal's trip to Bolton tonight.
