Arsenal to scout Red Bull Salzburg youngster this week?

Arsenal will reportedly scout Red Bull Salzburg youngster Dominik Szoboszlai when he features against Liverpool in the Champions League this week.

The Hungary international broke into the Salzburg first team last season and featured during the club's remarkable 6-2 win over Genk on matchday one last month.

The 18-year-old's performance against the Belgian side - an impressively mature midfield display - was watched by scouts from the Gunners.

According to Football Insider, Arsenal scouts will once again be in attendance at Anfield to watch Szoboszlai face the ultimate test against the European champions.

The Premier League side expressed interest in the midfielder over the summer and are likely to make a return for his signature during the January transfer window.

However, Arsenal are set to face competition from Juventus and Borussia Dortmund for Szoboszlai, who is valued at £15m by Salzburg.
