Arsenal to drop Kieran Tierney interest?

Arsenal are reportedly considering dropping their interest in Celtic defender Kieran Tierney.

The Gunners have been strongly linked with a swoop for the Scotland international in this summer's transfer window, but it has been reported that the club are struggling to agree a fee with the Hoops.

Arsenal are said to have made a bid worth £25m in various add-ons, which Celtic have rejected as the Scottish giants want more money up front.

According to the Daily Mail, Unai Emery's side are now considering pulling the plug on a deal as the team already have experienced options at left-back in the shape of Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac.

The report adds that Arsenal's need for a new centre-back, a midfielder and a winger ahead of the 2019-20 campaign could lead to the English club deciding against another offer for Tierney.

Crystal Palace, meanwhile, are said to have rejected a fresh bid from Emery's team for Wilfried Zaha, with the Eagles holding firm on their £80m valuation.
