Arsenal, Spurs dealt Vestergaard blow?

Borussia Monchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl has insisted that Jannik Vestergaard will not be sold during the January transfer window.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have both been linked with a move for the 25-year-old, who has impressed during the first half of the Bundesliga campaign.

However, despite interest from the Premier League, Eberl is not interested in parting ways with the Denmark international at the start of 2018.

Eberl is quoted by Bild as saying: "There is absolutely no reason for us to let Jannik go."

Since signing for Monchengladbach in July 2016, the centre-back has netted seven goals in 64 appearances in all competitions.
