Arsenal holding Carlos Vela to ransom

Arsenal have been accused of pricing Carlos Vela out of summer move.

Vela's agent, Eduardo Hernandez, claims that the Gunners' demand for a £6m fee will block any potential move to Real Sociedad.

The 23-year-old Mexican forward spent last season on loan with the La Liga side and is reported to be keen on securing a permanent move to Spain.

"He is very happy at Sociedad, he wants to stay there, but Arsenal are a complicated club to deal with," Hernandez said.

Vela has scored three times in 29 Premier League appearances since joining Arsenal in 2005.
