Arsenal 'preparing Wilfried Zaha swoop'

Wilfried Zaha is reportedly a target for Arsenal ahead of the summer transfer window, with the Crystal Palace attacker set to leave the club on a free transfer.

Arsenal are reportedly keen on signing Wilfried Zaha on a free transfer this summer.

Zaha is out of contract at Crystal Palace at the end of the season, and has yet to sign a new deal with the Eagles.

With Arsenal set to play Champions League football next season, Mikel Arteta will want to add more firepower to his squad, with the 30-year-old one player being linked.

A recent report in The Guardian claims that Palace have offered Zaha a deal worth £200,000 per week to stay at Selhurst Park, but the Ivorian is likely to leave after nine years at the club.

Therefore, Football Insider claims that Arsenal will reignite interest in their long-term target, who they have tried to sign in the past.

The report also states that Chelsea and Marseille are showing interest in Zaha, with wages likely to be a big factor as it will be a free transfer.

Injuries have affected Zaha this season, as it is just the second time in five seasons where he has not reached double figures for goals, with just seven scored this campaign.
