Arsenal and AC Milan are said to be in talks over a possible swap deal involving Nicklas Bendtner and Philippe Mexes.
France international defender Mexes, 30, has reportedly clashed with the Rossoneri management during pre-season and his long-term future at the San Siro is subsequently in doubt.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Milan are desperate to sign an international forward during the current transfer window in order to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic and they are willing to sacrifice Mexes in order to land Bendtner.
Bendtner, 24, has scored 22 goals in 99 Premier League appearances for the Gunners.
