Arsenal keep tabs on Sevilla goalkeeper Javi Varas

Arsenal have been linked with a summer move for Sevilla goalkeeper Javi Varas.

The 29-year-old has impressed for his side this season and gave a man of the match performance in last week's goalless draw against Barcelona.

Now, Arsene Wenger has reportedly asked to be given regular reports on the Spaniard, according to Cadena Ser.

Despite Wojciech Szczesny's position as number one seemingly secure, Lukasz Fabianski and Manuel Almunia are expected to leave in the summer.
