Gabriel Paulista: 'I'm in talks over a move to Arsenal'

Villarreal defender Gabriel Paulista has said that his agent is in talks with Arsenal over a possible transfer this month.

Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has made no secret of his desire to sign a defender in this window, although the 24-year-old insists that he will remain professional as the two parties continue to discuss a deal.

"Whether I go to Arsenal or stay at Villarreal, I won't lose my head," Paulista said, according to The Guardian. "I'm very calm. My head is at Villarreal and I'm very focused. My agent is working on making sure I continue being calm."

Paulista has played 26 times for La Liga club this season.
