Arsenal have reportedly made contact with Ligue 1 side Reims over a potential deal for centre-back Axel Disasi.
The France Under-20 international made 27 appearances in France's top flight prior to the coronavirus suspension, but is out of contract at Reims next summer.
Arsenal will welcome William Saliba back to the Emirates this summer following his loan back to Saint-Etienne, although Mikel Arteta is supposedly keen to bolster his defensive options ahead of next season.
According to the Daily Mail, Reims are willing to sell Disasi rather than risk losing him for free next summer, and Arsenal are in talks over a proposed move for the defender.
The report claims that the Gunners would have to pay £15m to land the 22-year-old, whom they supposedly made an approach for in December before being pushed back by Reims.
Arteta's side have also been heavily linked with RB Leipzig's Dayot Upamecano, but the German outfit are said to be holding out for £80m for the Frenchman amid the coronavirus pandemic.
