Arsenal, Chelsea target Jackson Martinez delays Porto return

Porto striker Jackson Martinez, who has been linked to Arsenal and Chelsea this summer, requests an extended break before returning to pre-season training.

Arsenal and Chelsea target Jackson Martinez has added to speculation that he is planning to leave Porto this summer by delaying his return to the club.

The Colombia international had been on leave following his involvement at the World Cup earlier this summer, but has requested an extended absence, according to The Express.

The 27-year-old has been repeatedly linked with the two London sides, while Manchester United are also thought to be tracking the striker.

Martinez has scored 46 goals in 60 appearances for Porto.
