Alexandre Lacazette hints at Lyon departure at end of season

Alexandre Lacazette open to Lyon exit

Alexandre Lacazette has suggested that he will listen to transfer offers at the end of the season.

The striker was heavily linked with Arsenal and West Ham United, with both clubs understood to have launched bids last summer.

None were accepted, though, as they failed to meet the French outfit's £60m asking price, but Lacazette has not closed the door on a possible move in the future.

"We will see next June what presents itself and what will offer us the best," Lacazette told Le Progres. "Loads of names of great clubs have circulated and that makes me happy. I will have to think.

"This summer, there were some very interesting offers, but the president, for the good of the club, said no. And I understand that. It might be the opposite in the future.

"He will understand that an offer could be important for the club. I am happy at Lyon. We will see this summer."

Lacazette has scored 12 goals in 15 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
