Team News: Aaron Ramsey out, Mathieu Flamini in for Arsenal against West Bromwich Albion

A thigh strain rules Aaron Ramsey out of Arsenal's home game against West Bromwich Albion.

Aaron Ramsey has a thigh strain and is missing altogether from Arsenal's matchday squad as the Gunners take on West Bromwich Albion this afternoon.

The Welshman's absence is the only Arsenal change from Monday's victory over Newcastle United, with Mathieu Flamini taking his place in central midfield.

Visitors West Brom, who are looking to guarantee their Premier League safety, make two changes from their win over West Ham United last week.

Diego Lugano and James Morrison come in for Steven Reid and Billy Jones.

Both sides are also boosted by returning players on the bench, with Abou Diaby back in the Arsenal squad for the first time in 13 months, while Gareth McAuley returns for the Baggies after a month out.

Arsenal: Szczesny; Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal; Flamini, Arteta; Cazorla, Ozil, Podolski; Giroud
Subs: Fabianski, Jenkinson, Vermaelen, Kallstrom, Rosicky, Diaby, Sanogo

West Brom: Foster; Dawson, Lugano, Olsson, Brunt; Amalfitano, Mulumbu, Morrison, Dorrans; Sessegnon; Berahino
Subs: Myhill, Anichebe, O'Neil, Sinclair, Vydra, McAuley, Yacob
