Arsenal's Jack Wilshere could miss Manchester United encounter

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger confirms that Jack Wilshere is a doubt for this Sunday's Premier League clash against Manchester United.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that midfielder Jack Wilshere could miss this Sunday's Premier League battle against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The England international was left out of both teams that secured wins over Liverpool last Saturday and Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League in midweek.

The Gunners boss stated in a press conference "we'll see how he responds" when Wilshere takes part in a training session today.

Meanwhile, Wenger has claimed he is "confident" that Mathieu Flamini will be fit for this weekend's trip.
