Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has praised the commitment shown by Hector Bellerin after he signed a new long-term contract at the club.
The 21-year-old right-back had been linked with the likes of Manchester City and Barcelona since breaking into the Arsenal first team, but he ended speculation by committing his future to the club earlier this week.
Wenger hit out at the media's suggestions that the Spaniard wanted to leave the Emirates and was pleased to see him put pen to paper.
"It just sends out the message that the media will have to find a different name for someone who wants to leave the club," he told reporters.
"It shows the players we have educated here are committed. That's what you want."
Bellerin is currently sidelined with an ankle injury that is expected to keep him out for four weeks.
