Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits Neymar would be his dream signing.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has admitted that his dream signing would be Santos striker Neymar.

The £40m-rated Brazil international is the world's most sought-after player, with Chelsea and Real Madrid openly courting the 19-year-old.

"If I had the money today, I'd put it on Neymar. You can't say that Neymar is Pele as he had won the World Cup by the age of 17," said Wenger.

"He has the potential to be one of the future great strikers but at the moment there's a big difference between the Brazilian league and a European league."

Pele was also full of praise for the Santos ace, with the Brazil legend stating: "He has the ability to be better than me."
