Arsene Wenger: Olivier Giroud affair being dealt with "internally"

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has refused to be drawn on revelations that Olivier Giroud has been having an affair.

The French striker moved to apologise after he was pictured by The Sun in a hotel room in his underwear over the weekend.

Wenger told reporters: "He has made a statement. For the rest, we will deal with it internally.

"I don't think there is much more to add to that. I want to respect his privacy."

The Gunners are currently second in the Premier League.
