Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger calm over Abou Diaby injury

Wenger: 'Diaby injury not serious'

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that midfielder Abou Diaby could be fit for this weekend's Premier League clash against Southampton.

Diaby was forced to pull out of France's squad for their 2014 World Cup qualifier against Belarus after suffering a knock against Finland.

"It doesn't seem serious to me at all," Wenger told TF1. "He has a small chance of playing on Saturday."

The Frenchman spent the majority of last season on the sidelines with injury.
