Arsene Wenger: 'Arsenal were unlucky to lose against Swansea City'

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes that his side were "unlucky" to lose 1-0 against Swansea City in their Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that his side were "unlucky" to lose 1-0 against Swansea City, claiming that the Gunners would have won the game '19 out of 20 times'.

The North London outfit dominated from the start at the Emirates Stadium, but were unable to find a way past their former goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski, who made a number of important saves.

Bafetimbi Gomis then scored the winner for the Swans with five minutes left to play as he headed in from Jefferson Montero's cross.

Wenger told Sky Sports after the game: "We were a bit unlucky with the goal. There are a lot of positives. This kind of game you play 20 times and win 19 times.

"In patches our domination was top quality. You have to learn from defeat and we take encouragement from a defeat like that.

"Swansea deserve credit for their defensive display but they probably had the fewest passes in our half of any team here this season."

Swansea's win means that they have defeated Arsenal twice in the league this season.
