Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has told his teammates that they must respond positively following last weekend's derby defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Gunners were beaten 2-1 at White Hart Lane on Sunday - a result that has left them five points off the Champions League places.
Arsenal will now turn their attention to next Wednesday's Champions League last-16 tie against Bayern Munich in Germany where they will look to overturn a 3-1 deficit from the first leg.
"Every time we lose a derby there is going to be disappointment, but we have to pick ourselves up," Szczesny told the club's official website.
"We have a lot of time to prepare for that game and if we manage to get a good result and hopefully qualify for the next round, that would be a massive boost to have a good run in the Champions League."
Szczesny has made 27 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal this season.
