Wojciech Szczesny: 'Arsenal team full of Gooners'

Wojciech Szczesny says that the current Arsenal team includes a number of Gunners fans.

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has revealed that the current squad is full of Gunners fans.

The 22-year-old has been at the club since he was 16, and recently committed his long-term future to the North London outfit.

The Poland international says that he has become a fan of the club since joining, and insists that he is not the only Arsenal supporter at the Emirates Stadium.

"I think there's a lot of players in this team that are genuine Gooners," Szczesny told the official club website.

"You've got people like Carl Jenkinson, there's Jack Wilshere, Emmanuel Frimpong - a lot of young players who really feel it's the biggest honour they could have, to play for this club.

"I think that's very important for the future."

Arsenal host Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
