Aaron Ramsey 'so glad' to return for Arsenal

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey admits that he is "glad" to return from injury following three months out.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has revealed that he is "glad" to have returned from injury for the final weeks of the season.

The Welshman came off the bench during his side's 3-0 defeat at Everton on Sunday after spending three months out with a thigh problem.

Despite seeing the Gunners lose at Goodison Park, Ramsey is happy to be back among the action following a lengthy layoff.

"It was very frustrating for me to be out for three months of the season when things were looking so good," the 23-year-old told the club's official website.

"These things happen in football and I am just glad to be back out there now. Hopefully I can show what I can do, help this team achieve Champions League football again and hopefully have a medal at the end of the year."

Arsenal return to action on Saturday when they go up against holders Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup semi-finals.
