Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey believes that Sunday's 2-0 win over Norwich City will give the team a boost ahead of the FA Cup final.

Aaron Ramsey has claimed that Arsenal's 2-0 victory over Norwich City will give the team a boost ahead of the FA Cup final.

The Gunners finished their Premier League campaign on a winning note on Sunday as goals from Ramsey and Carl Jenkinson saw them come away from Carrow Road with the points.

Ramsey believes that he and his teammates will now go into Saturday's final against Hull City at Wembley Stadium with added confidence as they look to win a first trophy in nine years.

"It was important to win. Our target was always to win our remaining games in the league and we've managed to do that. We've got 79 points and that's an improvement on last season," the midfielder told the club's official website.

"It was important to win before we go into the FA Cup final. We haven't won anything for many years now so this would be a great trophy to win and I'm sure that if we do win it, it will make us more hungry to go on, get to more finals and win more trophies."

Ramsey's strike against Norwich saw the Welshman end the Premier League season with 10 goals to his name.
