Adam Lallana turns attention to Arsenal

Adam Lallana says that there is no reason why Southampton cannot beat Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana has said that he cannot wait to get back into Premier League action against Arsenal on Saturday.

The South Coast club travel to the Emirates Stadium trailing the Gunners, who top the league, by just three points.

Lallana, fresh from winning his first cap for England, said that positive results on the road against Liverpool and Manchester United have the Saints full of confidence.

"I'm just really looking forward to getting in amongst it this weekend at the Emirates," he told the club's official website.

"It's a massive game. It's top versus third so why can't we go there and get a result?

"We've done it at Old Trafford and at Anfield already this season, so the lads will be full of confidence and I'm really looking forward to it."

The 25-year-old has scored three goals in 11 league appearances this season.
