Mathieu Flamini has said that he will do everything in his power to help Arsenal end their nine-year trophy drought this season.
Arsene Wenger's men are firm favourites to claim their first piece of silverware since 2005 after a 4-1 victory over Everton set up an FA Cup semi-final clash with Wigan Athletic, with Hull City and League One outfit Sheffield United contesting the other tie.
Flamini, who has a winners medal from the Gunners' last success nine years ago, says that a lack of character has undermined their bid to end the barren spell in recent years, but vows to put it right this term.
"What I would say is maybe character. That is important, especially in the English league. I'm someone who gives a lot on the pitch, fight for every ball. I'm a fighter, so I do that naturally," he told the Evening Standard.
"Everyone is giving more - I really have that sensation. Everyone is committed to each other and that's important. We really want a trophy. Everyone was very focused on the [quarter-final] game against Everton because we all know - you win, you're through.
"You lose, you're out, so it's very simple. I can assure you I will do everything I can to make a difference."
The North Londoners face Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena tonight hoping to overturn a 2-0 first-leg defeat to qualify for the last-16 stage of the Champions League.
