Johan Djourou signs new Arsenal deal

Johan Djourou has committed his future to Arsenal by signing a new contract with the club, according to reports.

The Swiss international has agreed terms on a deal that ties him to the Emirates Stadium until 2015.

"I like this club and I want to stay here as long as possible," the 25-year-old told football.ch.

"I currently work in the background, waiting for another chance to show my potential. I have confidence in the future."

Djourou joined the Gunners in 2003 as a youth player.
