Arsenal's Nicklas Bendtner: 'It felt fantastic to score against Hull City'

Nicklas Bendtner says that it felt "fantastic" to score in the second minute of Arsenal's 2-0 win over Hull City last night.

Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has expressed his delight at scoring against Hull City in their victory at the Emirates last night.

The 25-year-old outcast was brought back into the first team by manager Arsene Wenger, who was rewarded for his selection when the Dane netted in the second minute of the Gunners' 2-0 win over Hull.

"It was a fantastic feeling, I think my celebration for the goal was a show of that," Bendtner told the Arsenal Player. "It was my first Premier League game this season, so I am pleased to have scored and that we won.

"It has been difficult for the players who have not been in the team because we have had such good form and the players who have played have been magnificent.

"With the way people play now, it looks like whoever comes in takes it in his stride and goes with it, that showed again because there were a couple of changes and everybody played well."

Bendtner, who moved to Arsenal in 2004, spent last season on loan at Juventus.
