Arsenal offer fans free tickets

Arsenal have announced that they will be writing to all their supporters that went to Old Trafford yesterday to offer them a free match ticket for another Premier League away fixture.

The move comes in response to their humiliating 8-2 defeat away at Manchester United.

"Sunday's result was obviously disappointing for everyone connected with the club," read a statement on the club's official website.

"Our travelling fans were magnificent throughout and we want to recognise their fantastic support. We will be writing to them shortly with the details."

The Gunners are yet to win in the Premier League this season, having picked up just one point from a possible nine.
