West Bromwich Albion travelled to Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday with both sides eager to end their recent losing runs.
What should have been a close match turned out to be a routine win for the Gunners as two Mikel Arteta penalties - the first a very controversial one - saw them come away with the three points.

Was the result fair?
It most certainly was. While a confident Arsenal side were eager to attack as soon as they got the ball, West Brom looked like a different team to that which has rocketed up the table in recent months.
Arsenal's performance
There were a couple of defensive lapses, but overall manager Arsene Wenger will be pleased with the positivity from his players. Their quick movement troubled the Baggies all afternoon and they should have had at least a couple more goals.
West Brom's performance
Steve Clarke will be hoping that his side gets out of this funk quickly. They lacked ideas in midfield and very little support was given to the isolated Shane Long. Where they did show commitment was in defence.
Sports Mole's man of the match
Jack Wilshere: The midfielder was poetry in motion when he surged forward and was involved in all of the Gunners' best attacks. As always, the 20-year-old was not afraid to mix it up in the middle of the park either.
Biggest gaffe
Santi Cazorla had a great afternoon for Arsenal, but he should hang his head in shame for the dive that won his side their first penalty. The Spaniard went down far too easily under the attention of Steven Reid. A blatant dive.
Referee performance
For all of the positives from Mike Jones's display, the official made a huge error in awarding Arsenal their first spot kick.
What next?
Arsenal: The Gunners have the chance to reach the semi-finals of the Capital One Cup on Tuesday when they travel to Bradford City.
West Brom: The Baggies can get back to winning ways when they host West Ham United in the Premier League next Sunday.
