Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger: 'Mesut Ozil out for at least six weeks'

Arsene Wenger reveals that Mesut Ozil will be out for at least six weeks with a knee injury, despite earlier reports stating that he would face a three-month layoff.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that Mesut Ozil will be out of action for six weeks, despite earlier reports claiming that the German could miss the next three months with injury.

The German Football Federation discovered while the World Cup winner was on international duty last week that he was dealing with a knee ligament problem.

While it was suggested that a three-month layoff was likely, Wenger told reporters in this morning's press conference that the midfielder could be playing again after six weeks.

Meanwhile, Wenger has confirmed that Aaron Ramsey will be included in next week's Champions League squad to face Anderlecht after recovering from a hamstring problem.
