Arsene Wenger: 'No obvious reason why Aaron Ramsey has muscular injuries'

Wenger baffled by Ramsey injury woes

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that the club are no closer to discovering the reasons behind Aaron Ramsey's muscular problems.

The Wales international will miss Sunday's FA Cup fifth-round tie against Middlesbrough with a hamstring problem - his third of the season.

In this morning's press conference, Wenger said: "We haven't found an underlying reason. There's certainly a medical or biomechanical [reason] because he's a guy who is serious, works hard and has a controlled, disciplined life. There's no obvious reason why he has muscular problems."

Ramsey joined the Gunners in 2008 from Cardiff City.
