Arsene Wenger: 'Tomas Rosicky out for more than two months'

Rosicky out for more than two months

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that Tomas Rosicky will be sidelined for more than two months following knee surgery.

The midfielder's agent recently claimed that he would be out of action for "four to eight weeks" after suffering an injury while playing for the Czech Republic in June.

However, Wenger has confirmed that the 34-year-old is expected to be unavailable for a longer period.

"Tomas has had surgery on his knee," he told the club's official website. "His agent said he will be out for one or two months, but it will be longer. How long exactly, we don't know yet."

Arsenal are back in action this weekend when they travel to Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
