Report: Jack Wilshere to miss Borussia Dortmund clash

A report suggests that Arsenal will be without Jack Wilshere for their Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.

Jack Wilshere will reportedly miss Arsenal's Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund due to injury.

The 22-year-old sustained an ankle injury in the second half of his side's defeat to Manchester United as he was forced to leave the pitch after falling awkwardly at the Emirates Stadium.

Wilshere underwent X-rays that proved there was no break in the ankle, but the midfielder does have minor ligament damage, which will force him out of the match against the Bundesliga side, according to The Mirror.

The England international has played 14 games for the Gunners this season, scoring one goal.
