Arsene Wenger: 'No injured Arsenal players coming back'

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says that none of his injured players will return to fitness in time to face Southampton.

Arsene Wenger has revealed that no players will return from injury in time for Arsenal's trip to Southampton on Boxing Day.

The Gunners currently have seven senior squad members on the sidelines, including Alexis Sanchez, Danny Welbeck and Santi Cazorla.

However, Wenger has said that it will be the same squad travelling to the South Coast that managed to record a 2-1 win over Manchester City on Monday night.

"We have nobody coming back. It is the same players available," he told reporters.

Wenger's men have won just one of their last four meetings with the Saints in all competitions.
