Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger not focused on personal glory ahead of FA Cup final

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits that he does not know where his previous FA Cup winners' medals are.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has insisted that personal glory is not his motivation to win this season's FA Cup.

The Frenchman will lift the trophy a record-equalling sixth time if his side defeat Aston Villa at Wembley Stadium in Saturday's final.

However, Wenger said that he is not dwelling on his past successes, and does not even know where his previous winners' medals are.

"Honestly I don't look at it in a personal way. Maybe I will if we win. If you ask me now 'show me a medal', I don't know where they are," he told reporters.

"I am not a collection man. I am always focused on what's next."

Arsenal reached the final after beating Manchester United 2-1 in the quarters, before knocking out Reading by the same scoreline in the semis.
