Arsene Wenger hails "wonderful" Tomas Rosicky

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has praised Tomas Rosicky for his "wonderful" performance during the team's 3-2 win at Brighton & Hove Albion in the FA Cup.

The Czech midfielder capped a fine display at The Amex Stadium on Sunday by scoring the Gunners' decisive third goal in the fourth-round clash.

Wenger believes that Rosicky is the type of player that football purists will always enjoy watching.

"He was wonderful," the Frenchman told the club's official website. "A player we all love. If you love football, you love Rosicky. On top of that he's a fantastic character, scored and I'm very pleased for him."

Arsenal return to Premier League action this Sunday when they host Aston Villa.
