Arsenal injury, suspension list vs. Zurich

Arsenal will be bidding to secure an automatic spot in the knockout round of the Europa League when they welcome FC Zurich to the Emirates Stadium on Thursday night.

The Gunners suffered a 2-0 defeat to PSV Eindhoven in Group A last week, meaning that they will need to beat Zurich to be certain of finishing above PSV in the section.

Arsenal will enter the match off the back of a 5-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the Premier League, which saw them return to the top of the table ahead of Manchester City.

Mohamed Elneny remains on the sidelines with a serious hamstring problem, and while the experienced midfielder has now returned to training much quicker than expected, Thursday's game is expected to come too soon for him.


Emile Smith Rowe

Emile Smith Rowe had to undergo surgery to address a troublesome groin injury, and the Englishman will not be available for selection until 2023.


Oleksandr Zinchenko

Oleksandr Zinchenko was again unavailable for selection against Forest due to a calf problem, but the Ukraine international has a chance of returning for this match.

Matt Turner was again missing against Forest on Saturday due to a groin problem, but the goalkeeper has a chance of being back in the squad for this contest.
