Arsenal's Mesut Ozil excited to face Besiktas in Champions League playoff round

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has expressed his excitement after the Gunners were drawn Besiktas in the Champions League playoff round.

The North London outfit will play the Turkish outfit over two legs, the first of which is away in Istanbul, in a bid to reach the group phase of the tournament.

After the tie was confirmed in Nyon, Switzerland, Ozil tweeted: "what a draw! already looking forward to the matches against @Besiktas! #Turkey #Ä°stanbul #Arsenal #AFC #UCLdraw."

The midfielder will return to training with Arsenal on Monday after being given extended time off following Germany's World Cup triumph in Brazil.
