Philipp Lahm reveals that Bayern Munich aims to beat Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

Bayern Munich captain Philipp Lahm has insisted that his side aims to beat Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

The German club, who are currently 15 points clear at the top of the Bundesliga table, travel to London on Tuesday.

"I don't think Arsenal will play offensively and leave us a lot of room," Lahm told TZ. "It will be similar to our recent Bundesliga matches. We're going there to win."

Bayern reached the final of last year's competition but were beaten by Chelsea on penalties.
