Pep Guardiola: 'We'll take care of Arsenal fans by offering good ticket prices'

Guardiola: 'We'll take care of Arsenal fans'

Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola has told Arsenal supporters that they will be offered a "good price" for tickets to attend November's Champions League tie at the Allianz Arena.

Prior to the Gunners' 2-0 victory over the Bundesliga outfit last night, Bayern fans protested against the ticket prices at the Emirates.

In the away end, some Bayern supporters held banners reading '£64 a ticket but without fans football is not worth a penny' during the first five minutes of the match.

Many Arsenal fans agreed with their counterparts as a number could be heard applauding the protest once the Bayern supporters had taken their seats.

After the game, Guardiola alluded to the rising cost by telling PA: "I will speak with [Arsene] Wenger for next time to make it cheaper for our fans.

"We will take care of Arsenal fans in Munich with a good price. They can travel."

A recent study by the BBC found that Arsenal are the most expensive team to follow in England.
