Arsenal given Laurent Koscielny fitness boost

Arsenal have been given a fitness boost ahead of their Champions League playoff against Besiktas after Laurent Koscielny took part in training on Monday.

The defender had been a doubt for the Gunners due to a knock that he took to his Achilles during the team's win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.

However, the French international is now expected to be available to Arsene Wenger for Tuesday's encounter in Turkey.

While Koscielny was present in training, Kieran Gibbs is expected to sit out tomorrow's match after missing the session.
