Stuttgart were crowned DFB-Pokal champions when they beat Arminia Bielefeld 4-2 on Saturday at Olympiastadion Berlin.
The deadlock was broken on the 15th-minute mark when Nick Woltemade used his strength to burst through towards goal, slotting home from insider the box to give the victors the lead.
Bielefeld were the architects of their own downfall minutes later when they lost possession from their own corner and were countered by Die Roten, who scored thanks to unselfish work from Deniz Undav to set up Enzo Millot.
Undav netted his side's third in before the half-hour mark after Angelo Stiller won possession in midfield, and his measured strike from inside the box ultimately sealed the victory before the interval.
Stuttgart would go on to net a fourth in the 66th minute through Millot, who won the ball back on the right side of Arminia's half and drove towards goal before placing a curled effort into the bottom-left corner, striking from inside the penalty area.
Julian Kania managed to pull one back for Arminia in the final stages of the match before Josha Vagnoman's own goal gave them a glimmer of hope, but it was too late to stage a comeback and prevent Stuttgart from lifting their fourth DFB-Pokal.
SPORTS MOLE'S VERDICT

The victory means that Stuttgart have won their first trophy since they won the Bundesliga title in the 2006-07 campaign, and the win means they have now qualified for the Europa League.
Boss Sebastian Hoeness managed to guide the club to a second-placed finish last term, and his triumph on Saturday has only raised his profile as one of Europe's most promising young coaches.
As for Bielefeld, losing against Stuttgart should by no means stain their successful campaign considering they have earned promotion to the 2. Bundesliga.
