How Bolivia could line up against Argentina

How Bolivia could line up against Argentina

Bolivia should be able to welcome all-time leading goalscorer and captain Marcelo Moreno back into their starting XI for their final group-stage fixture at this summer's Copa America against Argentina.

Moreno, who has struck on 25 occasions for his country, was unable to feature in the early stages of the tournament following a positive coronavirus test.

The 34-year-old appeared off the bench in the 2-0 loss to Uruguay last time out, though, and should now earn a spot in the first XI for his country's last match at the 2021 competition.

Henry Vaca was also ruled out of Bolivia's first two games due to a positive coronavirus test, but he came off the bench against Uruguay and could make the XI here.

Rodrigo Ramallo is expected to retain his spot in the starting side, but Moreno's return could see the 30-year-old shifted into a wide area as part of a 4-5-1 formation.

Ramiro Vaca is in line to win his 11th cap in a midfield area, while Juan Carlos Arce and Leonel Justiniano should keep hold of their spots in the starting side for the clash with the Group A leaders.

Bolivia possible starting lineup: Lampe; Saavedra, Quinteros, Jusino, Flores; Arce, H. Vaca, Justiniano, R. Vaca, Ramallo; Moreno
