Scottish L2 roundup: Albion Rovers go top with victory over Berwick

Albion Rovers moved to the top of the Scottish League Two table with a 2-0 victory over Berwick this afternoon.

Goals from Ross Dunlop and Mark McGuigan sealed the three points for the Coatbridge club.

Arbroath came from 3-0 down to take a point against Elgin City. A Shane Sutherland double and a Brian Cameron goal gave Elgin a cushion, but Paul McManus, Ricky Little and Bobby Linn goals completed the comeback for Arbroath.

Teenage striker Kevin Nesbit scored twice on his debut for East Stirlingshire in a shock 3-1 victory over Queen's Park.

David McKenna added his 12th goal of the season before Vincent Berry scored a consolation goal for the Hampden Park club.

East Fife defeated Annan Athletic 2-1, with Steven Logan giving Annan the lead only for Nathan Austin to equalise with 23 minutes remaining. A Trialist scored in the 89th minute to give East Fife the victory.

Elsewhere, Clyde defeated bottom-placed Montrose 2-0 thanks to a Garry Wood own goal and a late Scott Ferguson strike.
