Alanyaspor will attempt to end a three-game winless run when they play host to their city neighbours Antalyaspor on Friday.

The home side sit in 11th place in the Turkish Super Lig, while Antalyaspor are in the relegation zone after failing to win any of their last five matches.

The hosts began the season with a mixture of results, splitting their opening six games evenly between wins, draws and defeats.

Although inconsistent, Alanyaspor were still picking up victories and points, but that is a skill that appears to have evaded them in recent weeks.

Their three-game winless run began with a demoralising 5-0 defeat to Fenerbahce, and although they managed to pick up a point against Giresunpor, they were beaten once again last Sunday.

However, the Antalyaspor boss will be less than impressed with results since a 5-2 victory over Trabzonspor, with their previous five games yielding only one point.

They managed to avoid a fifth consecutive defeat last weekend when they faced Konyaspor, although they were just moments away from claiming their third victory of the season.

Fernando looked to have set his team on their way to all three points when he opened the scoring in the 51st minute, but a late equaliser from Francisco Calvo in the sixth minute of stoppage time ensured that Antalyaspor's wait for a win continues.

Having conceded 12 goals and only found the net on three occasions in their five-game winless run, Antalyaspor know that there is still work to do despite going agonisingly close to claiming a victory last Saturday.

Team News

Alanyaspor are expected to be without the services of Ivan Cavaleiro, Yusuf Ozdemir and Erencan Yardimci due to injury issues.

Famara Diedhiou returned from injury to make his first appearance of the season as a late substitute last time out, and the forward will be on the bench once again as the hosts manage his comeback.

Meanwhile, Oguz Aydin could be brought into the starting lineup after coming off the bench to play the majority of the second half against Hatayspor.

As for the visitors, Hakan Ozmert missed out last weekend through injury, and the midfielder could still be sidelined for Friday's contest.

Alassane Ndao is also a doubt after he was forced off in the first half against Konyaspor, and he will be replaced by Houssam Ghacha if he is unable to feature against Alanyaspor.

After dropping out of the side last Saturday, Veysel Sari could come into the starting lineup to partner Omer Toprak in central defence.
