Former Arsenal winger Marc Overmars has been named as Ajax's new technical director ahead of the new season.
The 39-year-old, who has also played for Barcelona, will reportedly be responsible for the club's youth department and scouting system.
The Dutchman will also be handed the responsibility of negotiating transfers for the Eredivisie champions.
Overmars won the Champions League during his time at the Dutch club.
