AC Milan: Carlos Tevez is overpriced

AC Milan: Tevez too expensive

AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has told Manchester City that their asking price for Carlos Tevez is too high.

The Serie A club are interested in signing the Argentina international, who hasn't played for Roberto Mancini's side since September.

However, Berlusconi believes that AC Milan are being priced out of a move for the former West Ham United player.

Berlusconi said: "I'm not courting Tevez, and he costs too much."

Milan are believed to prefer a loan move for Tevez, although Mancini claims that such a move will not take place.

French club Paris-Saint Germain are also believed to be interested in the 27-year-old and Mancini has accepted that a transfer is the best outcome possible for both parties.

Tevez has netted 52 times in 84 appearances since moving to the Etihad Stadium from rivals Manchester United in 2009.
