Half-Time Report: AC Milan, Inter Milan goalless in China

AC Milan and Inter Milan's Champions Cup tie in China remains goalless at half time after a quiet opening 45 minutes at the Shenzen Universiade Sports Centre.

Young Milan full-back Davide Calabria could have put his side ahead in fortuitous circumstances early on when his deflected cross almost beat Juan Pablo Carrizo at his near post.

Keisuke Honda then sent M'Baye Niang clear of the Inter backline, only for Carrizo to deny the French forward with a smart stop with his legs.

Niang proved to be the liveliest player on the pitch, and went close again when he collected another Honda pass and fired wide of goal.

Alessandro Matri and Samuele Longo both had the ball in the back of the net just before half time, but each saw their effort ruled out for offside.
