Pietersen vows to carry on until 2015

England batsman Kevin Pietersen has admitted that he wants to continue representing his country until at least 2015.

The 33-year-old has been amid speculation that he could retire at the end of the Ashes series in Australia due to a persistent knee injury.

However, the prolific batsman, who will play in his 100th Test match in Brisbane on Thursday, is eyeing the 2015-16 tour of South Africa.

"As long as the body goes well, I'm good for it," Pietersen told BBC Sport.

"I had coffee with [England one-day coach] Ashley Giles and said to him, 'I want to be with you in 2015'."

Pietersen has featured in four Ashes series wins since making his international debut in 2004.
