An X-ray shows Ian Bell has suffered no damage to his wrist and he is free to play against Pakistan tomorrow.

England's Ian Bell has been given the all-clear to play in the first Test against Pakistan tomorrow.

The batsman was sent for an X-ray after suffering a wrist injury during a nets session.

However, the scan has shown no lasting damage and the 29-year-old has been informed that he will be able to participate in England's first match of 2012.

Bell is likely to bat at number five for the tourists.
